As a way to get to know the local sheriff's deputies that patrol our neighborhood, a suggestion has been made that we hold a neighborhood fishing competition between the Plantation Oaks kids and the local sheriff's deputies. The winners would get bragging rights.
The fishing would take place on the common areas around the lakes. See map. There would be no fishing in the lake behind Honey Locust. Parents would be expected to attend with our younger neighbors. Social distancing would be enforced.
